How We Work

Who handles your RFQ

Direct Technical Alignment

Your technical question goes straight to the engineer who will plan the routing — not through a sales rep relaying answers they don't fully understand. When the answer takes a calculation or a print check, we say so and come back with the number, not a guess.

Total Ownership

The lead engineer who quoted your job stays on it through routing, first article, and inspection sign-off. No handoff to a junior on the floor, no queue behind 50 other accounts. The downside of a small shop is capacity; the upside is that the same person owns your part from RFQ to ship.

Manufacturing Feasibility First

Every RFQ gets a DFM pass before a quote line is written. Tool interference, tolerance stack-up, datum order — the things that turn into scrap on the floor get flagged on the drawing first, so the print and the route agree before the first chip flies. We keep the team small on purpose, so every RFQ can go through a lead engineer for a technical review before the quote is written. The sales side relays what the engineer actually said — not a cleaned-up sales version of it.

My background is in aeronautical engineering and computational fluid dynamics. The research I do on flow behaviour and fluid–structure interaction directly informs how we approach flow-critical components, rotor clearances, and thermal management in precision machined parts. Joining SCPM at its founding gives me a direct channel to apply that work to real manufacturing problems.
